Lok Sabha Election Results 2024 Live: BJP-led NDA has crossed the half-way mark and is surging ahead, as per early trends. However, opposition’s INDIA bloc has put up strong show and has given tough fight to BJP especially in Uttar Pradesh.
As the nation eagerly awaits the outcome of the Lok Sabha election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi aims to secure a historic third consecutive term in office. The opposition bloc, INDIA, hopes to pull off an upset, but the odds seem to favor the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The counting of votes will bring the extensive polling process, which lasted over 80 days, to a close.
Exit polls have unanimously predicted that the NDA is closer to achieving Modi’s ambitious goal of “400 paar” for his alliance than the INDIA bloc is to surpassing the 180-seat mark, which represents one-third of the total seats.
